Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CircuitDukaan ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use circuitdukaan.com and the CircuitDukaan mobile apps. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

Data we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, e-mail address and password (stored in hashed form).
• Order details: delivery and billing addresses, business name and GSTIN if you provide them, the products you order, and your order history.
• Payment details: payments are processed by our payment partners (such as Razorpay). We receive a payment reference and status. We do not store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
• Device and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, app version, pages viewed, items searched and added to cart, and crash logs.
• Location: the pincode or location you choose to see delivery availability. Precise device location is collected only if you allow it.
• Communications: messages you send to our support team, product reviews and questions you post.

How we use it

• To create and manage your account and to process, ship and track your orders.
• To issue GST invoices and meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.
• To handle returns, refunds, warranty claims and support requests.
• To send order updates by SMS, e-mail, WhatsApp or push notification.
• To send offers and newsletters, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the platform secure.
• To understand how the site and apps are used so that we can improve them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what each party needs to do its job:

• Sellers on CircuitDukaan receive your name, delivery address and phone number for the orders you place with them.
• Courier and logistics partners receive delivery details so that they can pick up and deliver parcels.
• Payment gateways process your payments.
• Service providers that host our servers and send SMS, e-mail and notifications (for example Google Firebase), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Government authorities, when the law or a valid legal request requires it.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice from the cookie banner or your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally 8 years). We delete or anonymise other data when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent you have given, or nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. You can edit most details in My Account. For anything else, write to us at the address below. We may need to keep some data where the law requires it, for example invoices.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls and hashed passwords to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password and OTPs private. CircuitDukaan will never ask for your OTP, card PIN or UPI PIN.

Children

Our services are meant for users aged 18 and over. Minors may use them only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
