Terms of Service

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of circuitdukaan.com and the CircuitDukaan mobile apps (together, the "Platform"), operated by CircuitDukaan, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560100, India. By using the Platform or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.

1. About the Platform

CircuitDukaan is an online marketplace for electronic components, modules, tools and related products. Products are sold by CircuitDukaan and by independent third-party sellers. The seller of each product is named on its product page and on your invoice. Where a third-party seller sells a product, the contract of sale is between you and that seller. CircuitDukaan provides the Platform, payment collection, shipping coordination and customer support.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older, or use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
• Give accurate details and keep your login and OTPs confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or are used for fraud or abuse.

3. Products and information

• We and our sellers try to describe products accurately, including specifications, pinouts and images. Minor differences in colour, PCB layout, silkscreen or packaging may occur between batches.
• Datasheets, tutorials and specifications are provided for guidance. Check that a component suits your application before use.
• Many products are bare electronic components and modules meant for people with suitable technical knowledge. Lithium batteries, mains-voltage modules, motors and tools can cause injury, fire or damage if used incorrectly. You use them at your own risk and must follow applicable safety practices.

4. Prices, taxes and invoices

• Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout.
• A GST invoice is issued for every order. If you need the invoice in your business name and GSTIN to claim input tax credit, contact support with your order number before the order is shipped, as the invoice cannot be changed after that.
• If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or typographical error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.

5. Orders and payment

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when it is dispatched. We or the seller may decline or cancel an order, for example for stock unavailability, a pricing error or suspected fraud. Any amount paid is then refunded in full.
• All orders are prepaid. Payments are processed by secure third-party payment gateways. Cash on Delivery is not offered.
• Quantity limits may apply to some products.

6. Shipping, returns and cancellations

Delivery, returns, refunds and cancellations are covered by our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms.

7. Sellers

Sellers must hold a valid GST registration where required, list only genuine and lawful products, describe them accurately, and ship on time. They must also follow the separate seller terms shown during seller registration. CircuitDukaan charges sellers a commission on their sales and may remove listings or suspend sellers who break the rules.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Platform. This includes posting false reviews, scraping or copying content in bulk, trying to break its security, reselling in breach of quantity limits, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

9. Reviews and content

Reviews and questions you post must be honest and lawful. You allow us to display them on the Platform. We may remove content that is abusive, misleading or irrelevant.

10. Intellectual property

The CircuitDukaan name, logo and Platform content belong to CircuitDukaan or its licensors. Product names and brands belong to their respective owners.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CircuitDukaan's total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as damage to other equipment, lost data or project delays, arising from the use of products bought on the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to orders placed after it is posted.
