Description

A standard 3 mm red LED with two long legs – solder it into a PCB or plug it straight into a breadboard. Ideal as a power or status indicator, in beginner and school projects, or anywhere you need a small, bright red light.

Features

  • 3 mm round body with through-hole (DIP) leads

  • Long leg = anode (+), short leg / flat edge = cathode (–)

How to use

Always connect a resistor in series: 150–220 Ω on 5 V, or 68–100 Ω on 3.3 V. Without a resistor the LED will burn out.
