Description
The board that made WiFi projects cheap. Read a sensor and post it to a website, control a relay from your phone, or run a tiny web page – the ESP8266 handles WiFi and your code on one chip.
Features
- ESP-12E module: ESP8266 at 80/160 MHz, 4 MB flash, PCB antenna
- WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, station and access-point modes
- CH340 USB-to-serial with Micro-USB; FLASH and RST buttons
- 11 usable GPIO, 1 analog input (0–3.3 V on this board), PWM, I2C, SPI
- 3.3 V logic, on-board 3.3 V regulator
Getting started
Add the esp8266 boards package in the Arduino IDE and select NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module). Note: the V3 (LoLin) board is wider than V2 and covers both rows of a standard breadboard – use two breadboards side by side or jumper wires.
Package includes
1 × NodeMCU ESP8266 V3 board
